More efficient quality control through multiple data capture in optical manufacturing

Measurement technology is a central component of modern optical manufacturing. Mandler Engineering has developed a measurement concept that can capture multiple lenses simultaneously with just one interferometer. This significantly reduces the equipment and space requirements per machine workstation and increases efficiency.

Challenge

The increasing demand for process monitoring directly at the machine will lead to two interferometers being required per workstation in future practical applications. This increases both investment costs and space requirements, and complicates integration into compact manufacturing environments.

02 OUR APPROACH

Solution

An intelligent measuring concept enables the parallel testing of up to two components with only one measuring system. Through multi-acquisition, quality control is integrated directly into the manufacturing process with minimal space requirements.
