Es erweitert das bekannte Prinzip des Kugelstiftpolierens um eine K\u00e4figf\u00fchrung: Die Linse wird spannungsfrei \u00fcber einen K\u00e4fig gef\u00fchrt und ausschlie\u00dflich durch ihre Eigengewichtskraft auf das Werkzeug gedr\u00fcckt. Die R\u00fcckseite der Linse bleibt dabei vollst\u00e4ndig zug\u00e4nglich und erlaubt eine gezielte Manipulation der Form \u00fcber lokal aufgebrachten Zusatzdruck. Durch diese offene Kinematik entstehen neue Freiheitsgrade, die eine pr\u00e4zise Steuerung des Materialabtrags \u00fcber die gesamte Fl\u00e4che erm\u00f6glichen. Das Verfahren arbeitet mit unterschiedlichsten Suspensionen und ist auf Bauteile bis 300 mm Durchmesser ausgelegt \u2014 skalierbar bis zu einem theoretischen Durchmesser von 2 m. Classic polishing methods for large diameters are highly manual and therefore only partially automatable. This limits both economic viability and reproducibility \u2013 and makes scaling up production increasingly difficult.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"flex items-center gap-3 mb-6\">\n<h3 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold text-foreground\">Solution<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>The VGP process addresses these challenges through a fundamentally new machine kinematics. The stress-free cage guide and access to the rear of the lens open up intervention possibilities that were not possible with previous systems: form deviations can be corrected in a targeted and localised manner, the process is fully automatable and repeatable.
